Supporters of DSRTF’s Los Angeles Event will help raise awareness and funding for Down syndrome research. DSRTF’s mission is to stimulate biomedical research that will accelerate the development of treatments to significantly improve cognition for individuals with Down syndrome; with the goal of improving memory, learning and speech to allow individuals with Down syndrome to participate more successfully in school, lead more active and independent lives and prevent early cognitive decline.

The 2006 Los Angeles Event was great fun and the funds raised supported marvelous research efforts. We look forward to making more progress on behalf of the Down syndrome community in 2007.
